Day 2

Golf on this dayGolf at Biarritz Le Phare Golf Course, the second oldest golf course built in France and designed by Willie Dunn in the British tradition. Facing the Atlantic Ocean and the lighthouse, this flat and tireless course offers the best quality of fairways and greens in the region.

Biarritz Golf Club, twinned with Augusta National, has already welcome 17 international championships.

Suggested sightseeing: Visit and shopping in Biarritz. Visit the Imperial Chapel, erected in 1864 on request by the Empress Eugénie, an exact replica of La Vierge de la Basilique de Mexico Notre Dame de Guadalupe. Visit the Chocolate Museum, a unique world of chocolate featuring chocolate sculptures and the history and secrets of chocolate making.

Lodging at Radisson Hotel or Hotel du Palais

Day 3

Golf at Arcangues Golf Course Golf on this day

Arcangues Golf Course, owned by the Arcangues family (inhabitants of the area since 1170), is a hilly course with many slopes. Strategy requires a large variety of strokes.

Even though the course itself is short, the bunkers and greens have been thoughtfully designed - typical of its architect, Ronald Fream - making Arcangues a true challenge (slope over 140). Several holes offer panoramic views of the Pyrenees.

Suggested sightseeing: Visit Arcangues, a charming village made famous by the singer Luis Mariano. See its town hall and school with shutters painted "Arcangues Blue", and the churchyard with a beautiful view overlooking the golf course - one of the finest views in the Pays Basque.

Lodging at Radisson Hotel or Hotel du Palais

Day 4

Golf at Moliets Golf Course Golf on this day

With five seaside holes, Moliets Golf Course designed by the Master Trent Jones, has been ranked 25th among the top 50 best golf courses in Europe.

Preserving the ocean-facing pines, this superb championship course offers a true view of the Landes with its wide fairways carved out of the pine forest, and its small hilly dunes. Some tough bunkers preserve the greens, with three of them requiring blind shots.

Since 1998, Moliets Golf Course has been selected as one of the National Golf training centers for PGA players.

Suggested sightseeing: Visit Bayonne, the "town of art", with wine cellars and old castles, a magnificent cathedral, and ramparts which have protected the old center for the last 15 centuries.

Lodging at Radisson Hotel or Hotel du Palais

Day 5

Spa session at Spa Kémana, which is directly accessible from the hotel. This luxurious spa offers a wide range of services, including body care, face care, Jacuzzi, and fitness center.

Suggested sightseeing: Visit and shopping in Saint Jean Pied de Port, on the river Nive, an important stopping place for pilgrims on the road to Santiago de la Compostela. From the bridge near Porte d'Espagne, there are views of the old houses with balconies overlooking the Nive. From the citadel, which is perched on top of a hill above the town, the views are spectacular. Visit Ainhoa, one of the "most beautiful villages of France", its interesting architecture features buildings traditionally sited with their backs to the sea, for protection against the wind and rain.

Lodging at Radisson Hotel or Hotel du Palais.

Day 6

Golf at Chiberta Golf Course Golf on this day

Designed by the most famous British golf architect, Tom Simpson (who acted in this occasion on the orders of his employer, the Duke of Windsor), Chiberta is an international class golf course rated amongst the top ten in France.

With 6 holes along the ocean front, and 12 in the pine forest, this course has not two holes alike, and its sandy soil allows the visitor to play in excellent conditions all year long.

When the ocean winds blow at Chiberta, it is essential to know how to work the ball (the priority is to keep the ball in play as on the famous Scottish links), and players with a tight short game will probably succeed.

Suggested sightseeing: Visit the seaport of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, the birthplace of composer Maurice Ravel. A short walk from the port leads to the church of Saint Jean-Baptiste, dating from the 15th century, where the marriage of Louis XIV and the Infanta Marie Thérèse was celebrated. Nearby is the town of Guethary, its large villas and small houses with white chalked walls rising along the Avenue of General de Gaulle.

Lodging at Radisson Hotel or Hotel du Palais

Day 7

Golf at Seignosse Golf Course Golf on this day

Seignosse is a famous masterpiece designed by Robert von Hagge, ranked among the top 100 best courses in the world by Golf World Magazine. Its narrow fairways and sloping greens surrounded by water hazards require a constant accuracy.

Considered as one of the most challenging golf course in France, Seignosse is one of Jose Maria Olazabal’s favorite course who comes here to work his iron game.

Lodging at Hotel du Palais

Day 8

Transfer or drive to Biarritz Airport – Departure.
