Day 1

Arrival at CDG airport – Welcome by JERRY QUINLAN’S CELTIC GOLF – Transfer or drive to Les Bordes Lodge.

Lodging at Les Bordes Lodge, traditional cottages with their oak beams and handmade furniture in the extraordinary atmosphere of the forest of Sologne.

The Sologne – the ancient forest in the heart of the Loire Valley: here in the seclusion and beauty of the former hunting estate of baron Bich, lies an extraordinary golfing retreat. Welcomed by the Rodin sculpture beside the putting green and by the warmth of the staff at reception, you know you are in a special place. You are one and a half hours – and an entire world – away from Paris.

Day 2

Golf at Les Bordes International Golf CourseGolf on this day

Created by the famous Baron Bich and designed by Robert von Hagge at his most inventive, Les Bordes is an international class golf course consistently ranked among the top five in Europe.

On this championship golf course, the water shimmers on 12 of the 18 holes in the heart of the Sologne forest making a real challenge even for the best players (the course record is only one stroke under par).

The experience of playing les Bordes is definitely something any golfer will treasure and when possible, deserves to be played twice.

Visit of Château de Chambord

The Château de Chambord is the largest castle in France with its 440 rooms and one of the loviest Renaissance castle in the Loire Valley.

This elegant château was built by Francois the 1st, Louis XII’s successor, who came to the throne in 1515 when he was only 20 years old. Francois the 1st had been particularly impressed by the figure of Lorenzo the Magnificent, an outstanding personality in the field of politics and culture.
