| Ballinacurra House - Kinsale's First Private Residence Accommodation in Cork Ireland |

Exterior |
|
– Ballinacurra House, Kinsale’s first private residence
accommodation, is the latest addition to quality accommodation
in Ireland.
Set within a walled garden with 10 foot high stone walls and
with 30 acres of woodland and lawns, this unique estate offers
its guests “Private, Discreet and Exclusive” use
of a country lodge.
Following a three-year restoration project, Ballinacurra is
now available on an exclusive basis by the day or week, with
tailor-made
rental packages for small to larger groups. This unique concept
offers its residents an individual private residence without
forfeiting any of the luxuries that you expect in a five-star
setting.
The renovation of the house, originally built in 1791, reflects
its colourful history of owners and residents from an old Cork
family dynasty, an English Colonel, a retired British Counsel
to a convent at one stage.
Its owners, Des and Lisa McGahan, have combined Ballinacurra’s
eclectic background with influences brought from their time spent
in the Far East and Australia giving the house the exotic feeling
of “East meets West meets Ireland”.

residences owned exclusively by members of Doonbeg Golf Club. The suites are being made available
to guests on a limited basis. Configured with 1-4 bedrooms, living room with fireplace, and
fully-equipped kitchen, each suite is meant to serve as our members' and guests' home away from home,
offering all the amenities one would expect, and more.
Located adjacent to the golf course, with sweeping views of the Atlantic, the Lodge building houses
the Clubhouse and Lodge Suites. The adjoining Garden House Suites, Norman Suites, and Courtyard

the result of a collaboration of talents from the fields of architecture, interior design, golf,
dining, and hospitality.
Doonbeg's links course, which opened in 2002, was designed by two-time British Open champion Greg
Norman and is set along 1.5 miles of crescent-shaped beach. Winning accolades from golfers and media
worldwide, it was designated as Golf Digest's "Best New International Course" in its opening year.
All of this, on the unspoiled southwest coast of Ireland. While Doonbeg is easily accessible, only
45 minutes from Shannon, it seems a world apart from the everyday. Guests are able to have a true
Irish experience, visiting the village pubs and restaurants to enjoy a pint and maybe a song or two
with the local crowd. This welcoming spirit extends to the Lodge itself, where the service is attentive
and genuine.

| Park
Hotel Kenmare |
|
|
A man would think that the game of Golf originated here
Tom Watson
One obvious reason for Ireland being blessed as a holy grail
of Golf is that it possesses the finest stretches of true, natural
links land in the world. Imagine the feeling Old Tom Morris and
Robert Trent Jones Snr had as they glanced across the seascape
lands which they would help mould, the expectation, the optimism,
the challenge, the sense of purpose.
What is ultimately gratifying is that this immense sense of place
and excitement still prevails in our golf courses, whether they
be Parkland or Links, a World renowned challenge or leisurely
pursuit, the unparallel experiences and hospitality will leave
you with that indefinable feeling which makes you relive again
and again the day you played here.
Fortunately the Park Hotel Kenmare is nestled perfectly between
the contrasting sights of the Beara and Ring of Kerry peninsulas
allowing many of the worlds most renowned courses to be
within easy reach.
